So I bought an I5 9600k, and a Rog Strix z370-g Gaming.. The problem is that the Mobo is only supported to 8th gen, and is BIOS supported to 9th gen. But when I put all the parts together, the screen is just black.. Because of wrong bios update I guess.. I have no 8th gen cpus around, and the mobo has no Flashback or what its called.. Is there a way to get it to work, without having to buy a cheap CPU, new mobo, og borrow someones CPU?

The only CPU's I have I the house is;I5 6400 and I5 7500.. :)

well, the z370 doesn't have the 9th support bios installed out of the box. you should have thought about that at the beginning. i suppose you could buy the cheapest clu that works with z370 chipset or return it back where you bought it if they accept returns otherwise sell it or wait i guess.

You do not necessarily need flashback to downgrade. You can normally just download the desired older BIOS version and flash it. Problem is that now you will still need a compatible CPU just to get that far.
