and on the official given XFX website in the Specs it says Memory Speed 2200

http://www.xfxforce.com/en-gb/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductID=17104&ProductType=graphiccard&SeriesID=17097&ModelID=17098

so some one here can explain me why it was showing GPU Memory Clock 1000

wait for your reply budds thx to all

Same here, I bought as a stopgap as my 8800 Ultra died and awaiting new GTX 300 series.

XFX are crap and I only bough for above reason as its far cheaper then other brands.

I spoke to support who denies my card should be 2200mhz even though there own site specs it so (use the product comparison feature and list the only 2 1GB cards and make sure the exact model part number is same as your box+card.

It cannot even be overclocked to 2200mhz and be stable in furmark etc, so either they have not used 0.8ns Memory or its grossly undervolted.

I returned mines as of this false advertising issue.

At here:http://www.xfxforce.com/en-gb/ProductDetails.aspx?ProductID=17104&ProductType=graphiccard&SeriesID=17097&ModelID=17098,

The memory speed is 2000MHz ,That is 2GHz,Which is the effective speed of the card,Not the normal speed,For a ddr3 gfx card ,the memory speed is half the effective speed,That is y it is shown as 1000MHz in the GPU-Z,

And i donot agree with helmutcheese, bCoZ XFX is one of the best brands which gaves us lifetime warranties for gfx card,

Or
I think u had received another model of the card which has 1100MHZ Memory spped,That is the effective speed is 2200MHz!

With regards!
