I need help. I bought a rx 6900 xt as its said in the title, and im getting so low fps in games like RUST.
i was seeing some benchmarcks and this videocard have to be capable of getting more than 200+ fps on this game.
my setup:
-i9 9900k
-16gb ram 4000mhz
-gigabyte z390 aorus pro wifi
-asus rog 1000w power suply

my bios and chipset has the lates versions installed.
I really dont know what to do. I feel like a wasted so much money on this card and its the same or even worst than my old radeon vega 56

This one uses the 5900x which is miles better than the 9900k. And as you can see, even at 1080p you're not even close getting 200 fps. So either you looked up to a wrong video, or the creator straight up lied.

Also apparently, i read alot has to do in which server are you in and how far from the wipe. I don't play rust so i don't know, but that could explain the difference between your performances and the ones you saw in the video. The dude that was playing at 200 fps was probably playing on a server he created for the video itself, henche why the high fps. Because literally every video i've seen noone is getting above 130 fps, even with better cpus (like the...

If this is the video you've seen, a quick look at the comments and you see how people are complaining about the same thing you are (even tho the dude is using a different cpu and gpu, and there's a huge difference between a 5800x and a 9900k). So again, it's 2 cases: 1) he's playing on a freshly created server just for the video 2) those results are fake and i don't have any clue why lying on a benchmark video. He's literally the only dude getting 200+ fps (which apparently got called out for and he deleted some comments... makes you think huh). The ones i've seen (even with nvidia 3080s and 3090s) are all around 110/130fps. Giving the benefit of the doubt to this creator, i wanna say he wasn't playing on a populated server, which you might be.

I record my experience so you can judge by yourself (bottom left are the fps) (second 15 and minute 1 are the clocks and temperatures)

Your clocks are way too low. try to enable manual settings at the 27 second seconds mark and put the min clock to 100 MHz less than the max value the card gives you in the second slider below. Your card is severely under clocked for some reason, make sure you don't have vsync or radeon chill active. Usually the 6900xt is around 2300 MHz stock. Yours barely reached 1700.

Have you uninstalled the drivers using the ddu method when you swapped the Vega card to move up to the 6900xt? If not please do so.

Actually I reinstall windows from 0 when I got the new card.
I will try the DDU method and I’ll try manuals settings as you recommend.

thanks a lot for the help!
