Xigmatek S1283 Thermal Paste

Hi,
Is the thermal compound that comes with this cooler worth using? I'm building a new system and I didn't buy any more expensive paste. I'm going to be overclocking, but nothing too crazy. Thanks!

Yeah, that paste will work. If you didn't get the XIGMATEK ACK-I7751 Retention Bracket (Backplate), I strongly urge you to get it.

Also, when you apply the paste, apply a thin layer across the CPU IHS or along the heatpipes of the HS. If you use a dab in the middle it won't spread properly, due to the gaps around the heatpipes.
