XP 2800+ Wont recognize

Windows wont recognizre my XP 2800+ from AMD. When I right click my computer (I have windows XP) it shows the CPU at 2.09 ghz but it is still "unknown" is there anything I can do to change this?

update your bios maybe, but does it really matter...

I believe windows tells progs what enhancements it can use , like SSE or 3dnow. It is probably important. Do you have service pack 1 ? Have you checked for Windows updates. I'm not the best guy here for software but, at least a bump.
