laptop will boot up, get to the win xp splash screen with the moving bar at
the bottom and then it blinks as if it's going to load up windows and then
the laptop restarts again.
xp home came preloaded so i dont have a start up disk or any kind of xp
disc. any help is appreciated.

Better yet, throw the computer away, read a book, go outside and get some
fresh air, then you wouldn't be thinking about things that we have no
control over. Eating is such a waste of time, why don't they invent one
pill? Driving and walking is too ... I say quantum teleportation, life's too
short to get from one place to the next ... don't get me started on stop
lights.

Sorry ... a weird thing...I was responding to a post about Linux desktops,
and it disappeared mid flight (no kidding!) and my reponse planted itself on

Please acquire the disks you need for the OS you plan on continuing to
use.
