XP recognize a 5.25" floppy"

I need to copy some old 5.25" disks over to either a CD or 3.5" disks. Unfortunately I sold my old relic last year. Anyway, would XP SP2 recognize a 5.25" floppy drive?

I know enuff to be dangerous. :tongue:
