Hello!

I have WIn Xp and Boeder usb-scanner. When i plug it on. Xp doesent find it? I tried to update the driver, but that doesent help at all. I think that boeder even doesent have drivers for xp and what i heard Boeder is middle of problems. What i shall do? Throw the scanner to trashcan... Install old windows..what?

is the usb detected correctly as i have also have a usb scanner and XP picked it straight away but only as a generic 600dpi scanner it was only later that i specifed the make.

check the USB is enabled in the bio's may seem obvious i know but i don't know how your system is config an don't know your mobo

does your scanner show in my computer?if it does then your usb is probably ok.if you have win 98(twain type) drivers installed try deleting your scanner drivers, reboot with scanner on,xp will see new hardware and lead you through any drivers needed.igot this from microsoft support when my hp scanner wouldn't work

I had the same problem when I loaded xp. I had to uninstall as my modem did not work with xp, I managed to download some updated drivers from epson they are for windows 2000 and they work ok but i have lost some applications that i originally had. The way some of these companies have reacted to xp you would think that microsoft only told them about xp the day it was released.
