Hi Everyone,

I have the MSI Z170A Gaming M9 ACK motherboard that has an ethernet port and wifi.

It worked fine before and I have used the ethernet port and wifi at the same time with the killerwireless software from MSI, but now for some reason windows 10 pro 64bit is unable to find the ethernet port at all. I have taken the following steps already;
Re-installed windows to see if an update was interfering with the ethernet port.
Removed the wifi module and re-installed windows again
Turned Lan of and on in the bios
Lights function on the ethernet port but don't respond
Attempted to boot from LAN

None of these have been successful and my device manager does not even have the LAN Adapter in there.

Does anyone have any experience with this and can help me please?

Kind regards,
Leroy

Updated the bios, that worked for a moment until I rebooted my computer. Now the Lan port is gone again and the wifi gone bad again.

Yes, and also had removed the battery from the motherboard, reloaded optimized default settings and used the drivers from MSI website for LAN and intel chipset as they had suggested. Unfortunately no luck finding the ethernet port.
