Just got your new castle in Fallout 4 but looking to fix up those seriously neglected walls? Well stock up on some cement and I'll explain how you can do this.
Step 1)Fix up the south wall.
The west wall is harder to fix, being more damaged, so let's start with the south wall to make this a bit easier. Go into your workbench menu and choose the shack foundation from the buildings options. Head to the east side of the breach on top of the wall still standing, and place a foundation so that the floor is flush with the bit of wall still standing, this will set the groundwork for the rest of the fix as you are just going to keep placing foundation along the wall until the entire breach is filled in.
Step 2)Fix up the top of the west wall.
Basically, we're going to do the same here, starting at the north side of the still standing wall and place the first foundation there and then fill in the rest to bridge the gap. The foundations from this side should meet and overlap with the foundations from the south side so that there is a seamless walkway going around the entire castle.
Step 3)Shore up the base of the west wall.
Now that the top of the wall is all fixed, you might step back and look at your handiwork so far, only to notice a rather large gap in the west wall at the base. The foundations don't extend down far enough to cover this completely, so we're going to need to build more foundations in this gap. Remove some of the top foundations to give yourself some room to work, and then place your first foundation down here so that the top of it is going to be flush with the bottom of the foundation on top. You'll need five foundations to fill in this gap, and if they are placed correctly then they shouldn't interfere with replacing the top foundations that you removed to give yourself room.
Now if you back up and look at your work from either inside the castle, or outside, it should appear to be an almost seamless cement wall that looks a lot more impressive than the crumbling neglected fort it once was.
