Hi there, I have my 1055t overclocked at 4ghz and wondered approximately how long the CPU will last. I couldn't find much on the web and didn't know how to get answers. Hope you guys can give me some bright light.
vCore 1.45v but jumps to 1.51v with prime running
CoreTemp never passes 46C under full load

Solution
You will not find the right answer to the age of the CPU, remember that clearly is an estimate, if you're lucky then your cpu if not used fulload 24 hours I think can last for 4 years. I have been using this 1055T Phenom even 1 year with a 4GHz. vCore 1.49v
of course not be used fully and fullload 24h.
I use high vCore if needed only needed a benchmark only. daily for more secure is to 3.8GHZ with 1:44 or 4GHz max vCore if can only get 1.47v vCore will be able to survive up to 5 years.
A CPU should remain stable even when overclocked for a few years, it really depends how much voltage and heat is thrown at it.

I would say 3 years, I had my Phenom overclocked for 2 years in a row until just this year I upgraded to a i7 2600.
