Hi. I really like the S2421HN in reviews. And planning to buy same. But there's some problem I noticed in reviews on Amazon India (I am from India).

Most people complained that it has 16A plug which is physically bigger (see photo), but Indian homes usually have small sockets on wall. Which are 6A. The plugs we use at home has same 3 pin design as this Dell one but they have smaller size so they fit in sockets at home.

The voltage in India is around 220V at 60Hz.

So this power plug which comes with this monitor won't fit in the socket. Is it a deal breaker? Is there any solution which won't cause any performance issue?

The typical power consumption of the monitor is about 16W, according to https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/del...onitors-monitor-accessories#techspecs_section . This translates to about 0.075A of amperage needed. So...
  1. You don't need a 16A cable. You could go down as far as a 1A rated cable.
  2. Devices will draw as much amperage they need. The cable has nothing to do with it outside of how safely that amperage will get to the device.

Are you suggesting to buy a different cable with small plug? 🤔
