Hi there!
So my question is basiclly the front line,
I have an Asus 2080 Ti Strix OC with an Intel i9-9900k and 32GB ram at 3200 MHz.
I use a 1440p@165Hz monitor now and it can max out everything and get nice 100+ FPS at AAA games and fix 165 at PUBG, LOL or CS:GO which I play most.
My current monitor is a LG 32GK850G-B .
But I looked two Dell Alienware monitor (AW3418DW, AW3420DW ) and they look so amazing and I don't even talk about the 4K.
The high refresh rate is indispensable for me, I get used to it and 60 Hz is a bad joke now (Sry console players).
I don't wanna buy another GPU for NVLink, so one single card can do it or I should just stick with the current one for a while?

Have you ever used a 21:9 monitor? I'm not going to say its worth the money to upgrade to one from your current monitor. However personally I would much prefer a high refresh 21:9 3440x1440 monitor versus a high refresh 16:9 4k monitor in any content that supports the 21:9 aspect ratio.
A single 2080Ti can handle up-to 4K@60FPS for most AAA titles. You will only get 120FPS at 4k for games that are not as intensive (i.e. indie games/small games). However with new software developing AI rendering from low res to high res, such as DLSS 2.0 it could be possible to use a single 2080 Ti to achieve 100FPS. But at the current time of writing you will need two 2080 Ti's in NVlink for 4k@120FPS for major games.

You may be able to get impressive fps rates with synthetic benchmarks.
But your gameplay will be better with a single gpu.
Dual gpu is prone to stuttering and screen tearing.
Some games do not support dual gpu.
If you want higher rates, give up some on game settings.

In time, there will be even stronger cards available.
Go ahead and buy your monitor.
If you need to adjust settings such as aa, you may find that the 4k resolution compensates.
And, keep your old monitor as a side monitor for static things such as email or performance monitors.
It will not impact your gaming.

So I was wrong, because the targeted resolution is 3440x1440p so that's not 4K..
I don't think it is worth the cost for the same resolution just for 21:9...

I haven't played on it yet but I did saw it in markets and etc.
I now have a 16:9 1440p monitor at 165Hz. So you think the 21:9 is much more better at 3440x1440 at 120 Hz? :))
