So I recently just ordered the AOC C27G2ZE, It goes up to 240hz and I have it plugged in via display port to my pc. In my nvidia control panel It only gives me the option to go up to 120hz. I decided to make a forum because I cannot find out anywhere else online if my components are compatible with 240hz. They are pretty dated, I don't even have Hyperthreading. but I thought it would be fine with what I have, so long as I am on display port.

I have the prebuilt Asus M80CJ-OCULUS-DE001T
It has a -
I5-7300HQ
GTX 1060 (3GB)
I can't find what it even says the motherboard is.. It's a prebuilt 1-form mini pc so I won't be able to just upgrade a part or whatever. I don't know what search terms to use to find out what I need. If there's any smart techy dudes that'll know just from looking at a specs page - I will be forever grateful to you xD

Thanks man :)) But mine is the 3GB variant and Idk if that changes things- It's actually working now though, I have HDMI2.0 plugged in aswell, however the full 240hz is running fine over DP now.
SOLVED
Anyone that goes into their Nvidia control panel and only sees up to 120hz available - Scroll further down the resolution column! I was only seeing The ultra HD options, which only go up to 120hz
faceplant
Scroll down until you see the resolution(s) listed under the "pc" sub-category. There I was able to select my resolution and refresh rate.
