2nd Edition Thieves Table and Dex

Hey everyone..

The 2nd Edition Players Handbook shows no adjustment to climb walls for any
DEX score... And yet, both Core Rules and Familiar both seem to add a 10%
bonus for a dex of 18.

Is there something I am missing in the rule book?

This is from "Player Option", where dexterity did affect climb walls.
