[SOLVED] 3070 build

I managed to get a 3070 but I now need a new CPU I think. If I'm correct a i5 8600k will bottleneck it. So can someone please recommend a motherboard and a CPU please

I wouldn’t change anything until you have run the gpu and actually encountered a problem.

If you mainly play CS why the 3070? Seems like big overkill and this game is largely cpu limited. What other games?

At 1080p you stand a greater chance of being cpu limited than if running a higher resolution. Even if you are cpu limited it might not be enough to worry about but should you still decide you want to upgrade then wait for independent reviews of Ryzen 5000 series as it’s looking likely to take the crown of gaming king.
