I picked up my Strix 3080 a couple days ago, and was super excited to start gaming. Was tricky finding a 3rd 8pin cable but managed to find my psu cable kit, which is an EVGA Supernova 1000 G3. Plugged it all in and started benchmarking and it seemed kinda underwhelming, a tiny bit, but I was excited. Then I got into Warzone, and cranked it up to max, and got like 130-150fps. Then Tried Cold War, and even that was hitting like only 90-100 fps maxed out. The weirdest though, was Rainbow 6 Siege, which was only getting like 110 fps. Then I got back into cold war next day, did some overclocking, only like 45mhz, because previously, in game it was stuck at 1545mhz for some reason. But after a bit, fps dropped to 70, then 60 eventually, then 50 range. All the while my temps are sub 60c gpu, and my 9900KF is like 52c.

Note: I have done so far ---> DDU for previous drivers, reconnect psu cables, reinstalled drivers, and a whole bunch of restarts

I am not exactly sure what could be causing this.. I was getting better frames with my 1080ti. Specs are as listed:

Strix 3080 OC
i9 9900KF
16gb ram Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro
MSI MPG Z390 Edge AC
2tb Samsung 970 Evo
1000w EVGA Supernova G3

Anyone got any ideas? Not sure what to make of this. Any help would be appreciated.

I'll take a vid when I am able to. For reference, my friend just received his FTW3 3080 and almost same specs, he's getting 300fps on R6 Siege all maxed when I'm getting 90~. He has 32gb ram where I have 16gb though. Maybe my cpu not being overclocked is a bottleneck, or maybe having only 2x8gb 3000mhz ram is my bottleneck, can anyone confirm this?

Update:

Just tested ny card in my friends build, he too has a 9900kf and a 3080. He was getting 300-370 fps maxed settings, and when I put my gpu in his build, same issue. I can get to like 170fps if I drop settings a bit, but it often dips well below 130 often even then. In benchmarks, my gpu does better than his. But in game, it does not.
