3Com 3c905 TX support in Windows 7

Hello,
Anyone point me in the direction of a 32-bit win7 driver for this NIC?

Given how common and old that NIC is, I'd be shocked if Windows 7 didn't automatically have it and install it. I could understand perhaps a 64 bit driver being an issue, but not 32 bit.

Yes - I was shocked, and yet looking around internet, I find others with the same problem.
Just wondering if anyone had found a driver. It doesn't appear to be built into Windows 7.

Well that's not a good sign. I'm pretty sure that NIC reached EOL (end of life) some time ago. And that means no more drivers. Maybe you could use a Vista driver. Frankly, given how dirt cheap NICs are these days, it may just be easier to get a new one.

so officially this NIC is not 7 compatible

You can update driver from windows update using another NIC this works for me, or download from DELL http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=2XWCR
