I was running Windows XP with an AMD 2000+, I then switched to an Intel 775 3.0Ghz again running Windows XP. I am a PC gamer and was looking for more CPU power. I ran a couple of test, I started the taskmgr; performance tab. I then started CPUBurn and the taskmgr indicated that only 50% of the CPU was used. I then started several games and noticed that only 50% on the CPU was used. Why dont I get 100% of the CPU? What can I do or is this a function of the 2 logical CPU's inside the 775?

Thanks.

It is a function of the two logical CPU's A.K.A Hyperthreading.

Don't worry, everything is working fine and you are actually using 100% of the processor.
