What's the meaning (if there is a meaning) of the Athlon XP colors for example the difference of <font color=green>Green</font color=green> and <font color=orange>Brown</font color=orange>...???

I think they just changed it to green to suit the AMD colour of green. The performance is no different as they both use organic bases, its just that the green ones are newer.

I Should have listened to you. I got a brown one dang. I was hoping for a green one. I haven't had one of those yet.

My old palomino 1700+ was brown, my Tbred A 2200 was brown, my 1800+ Tbred B was green (pretty!) and today I bought a Barton 2500+ that is brown. Go figure.

My Swedish 😉 boxed Barton 3000+ is brown. So I doubt the green ones are newer. Where did you read that green AXP's are newer?

Green ones are surely prettier.

They Probably have a stock of "BROWN" base... But, anyway... Who cares about that color, there is a heatsink that cover it!
