can anyone really explain how the XMP option in the BIOS is related to memory overclocking?
my motherboard (https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B550-GAMING-GEN3 ) is said to support until 4400 mhz ocs but my sticks are 3200mhz will i be able to reach at least 4000mhz? they are hyperx fury standard sticks. the processor is a ryzen 5 5500. if I can't then whats holding me back? the processor or the sticks?
