[SOLVED] Add a M.1 drive to a laptop with an SSD already in it?

Hi all! I was wondering if there was any way to install a M.1 Drive into a computer with a full sized SSD already installed into it (Computer is Toshiba Tecra z40a), and then use both as storage devices? I have recently been coming low to storage on my device with little applications installed, and so I want to use this drive as a way to expand my storage.

It doesn't support M.2.
Supports mSATA drives only.
It might be possible to install 2.5" sata drive in there. You'd have to get a sata compatible ribbon cable then.

Nope. This laptop supports single drive only.

Oh didn't realise that lol. Yeah mSata is the one. You sure there are no modifications or anything that splits it? Or any device that can replace a component inside?

It seems to have a single drive interface, mSATA.

There is no "split".

There are no connectors for additional drives on motherboard. So - you're out of luck.

You could use externally connected USB drives for additional storage.
Or replace current drive with larger capacity model.

Anything with the proper USB interface.
USB 3.0.

But thats another thing to carry around.
