Question AMD and Nvidia on a single monitor

Hello dear members, I'm new here.
I'm planning to buy AMD RX 580 8GB. right now I have GTX 960 inside, so I'm just curious can they run together? on a single monitor, for example, to play space engineers.
Motherboard : Z97 GAMING 3 (MS-7918)

No, you can only use one card at a time.
To avoid performance issues and conflict, you would be best off selling the 960.

okay, as i see you know that stuff, which card do you recommend in range of 300$ for gaming

For that price, I would go with a 1660Ti if you can find it in stock.

That game can easily run on a 960, it's from 2013/14, the recommended card for it is a 460.

Nice looking game BTW, have not heard of it before but I think I will try it out.

yeah the game is great but 960 have not enough power to run it have 40/50 on medium, but back then it was working like a charm
ps game is true simulation and fun.
