I already have an Intel P3 computer and am thinking of getting a Thunderbird for my 2nd computer.

I'm waiting for my DSL kit and plan to get a Linksys network starter kit to hook both computers to my DSL modem. I also plan to run Windows 2000 Server on the T-bird for my studies and after that, will install W2k Pro.

I have heard in the past that AMD is not compatible with everything and want to know if this has been resolved with the Thunderbird?

Yes. The early AMD chips (K5, and some K6) sucked. But Thunderbird is almost flawless (except for no thermal protection :frown: )
