Hello Community,

Well I have waited a year for GPU's to come down in price and looks like this market is going to hold for some time, so I am thinking about biting the bullet. Looking to upgrade both my GPU and monitor to allow for a better high quality gaming experience. Been using a 60HZ monitor and gtx 970 for quite sometime now and ready to improve my PC to play modern games on it (cyberpunk, Battlefield, Forza). I don't have the GPU to run these games without lag and tearing so I thought I would lean on you guys for any and all suggestions on where to go with this. Not looking to go full 4K just yet, so having the ability to possibly due 1440p would be great (not afraid of 1080P if can get a great experience visually). Just looking to make the jump to a much better gaming experience. Really leaning on community input here in regards to a great combo for a good gaming experience. I would like to utilize what I have if possible so it may create roadblocks for options. Fire away. All ideas welcome.

Specs:

Thanks for anyone for taking the time on this. Please ask any quesitons. Budget flexible (it has to be today), unless further upgrading is necessary.

Missed the boat on the card, got the monitor. Now I have to shop around for the card for $750 plus. bummer. at this point might consider going better graphics card for only $200 bucks more? thoughts?
