Just bought a build and was wondering if this PSU can handle it

AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor
Sapphire 6950 (2gb) (already had)
Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKX-FR 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive
MSI 970A-G46 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
Patriot Gamer 2 Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model

This is the PSU

O ya if i can do you think i can unlock to a 6970?

I see, it isn't bad for $50, I just don't really like systems with more than 1 12v rail. 2 or more rail systems start to get more confusing. Like I said it'll probably be able to run it, but since it uses 2 rails, its hard to say if you'll be able to OC very high.

It doesn't matter if its '2 rails' or one rail. Most power supplies with "multiple rails" feed off a single 12v rail anyhow.

Find the wattage for the 12v rails (you can't add them together) and then divide by 12 to get the actual Amperage on the 12v rail.

The BP550 will be able to run that system with no problems.

Can this be right really?
