Hey all, got a real USB/internal motherboard port head scratch here. While back I bought a Gigabyte H270 Gaming 3 and a Phanteks Enthoo 719 (Luxe 2). When they arrived the case had two USB 3.1 Gen 1 headers (20-1 pin) and the board luckily had two headers to supply them. About to upgrade to AMD/X570 and have noticed that a lot of the new X570 boards, namely the ASUS ROG Strix X570-E and X570-F have two connectors. Only one of them is a 20-1pin for USB 3 and the other is USB 3.2 Gen2. This seems to be common amonst the boards I've looked at in my budger range for the Gigabyte AORUS Elite, ASRock Steel Legend.
Any thoughts and suggestions are appreciated. Currently tossing up between AORUS Elite and the MSI Tomahawk WiFi
Or am I better off getting an adapter or cable like this? https://www.amazon.com.au/Front-Pan...+header&qid=1594697659&rnid=6963563051&sr=8-5
