I am new to PC games and I'm stumped. My son tried to load Age of Empires
game on PC, the screen went blank and then said something about "major
errors" and "crashed" and "memory dump" I wasn't there and that's all he
could remember. We have Windows XP, w/Intel processors, graphics, etc. Is
it a memory problem, sound/audio device problem, etc? I don't know where to
start. Thanks.

The first place to start would be to reinstall the game using an account with
Administrator privileges. If the install fails, note and error messages and
report back to this thread and we'll follow up from there. :)
