I have changed the memory speed in bios from XMP Profile 1 to Profile 2 and also adjusted the RAM from 6200 to 6400mhz as i wanted faster speeds and read sonmehwere thatg XMP Profile 2 is better for performance ?

Now my question is, is this ok? and also my latency for the ram is 71.2ns which seems high? Before when it was on 6200 and xmp1, it was around 78. I dont understand any of this, and im just looking for the best perfromance to eliminate as much latency as possible as i play FPS games and need low latency.

Those are the AIDA64 results but i dont understand what any of this means:

Run a benchmark in your favourite game(s) and compare results at both XMP speeds. Look for faster benchmark completion or higher FPS. I doubt you'll see much difference between 6200 and 6400MT/s.

71.2ns is faster (better) than 78.0ns. However, latency isn't everything. Other factors may come into play and there's a chance some programs might run "faster" at XMP 6200 than at XMP 6400, or vice versa.

Either spend a few hours/days reading up on memory specs or just stop worrying.

i wanted faster speeds
Do you need faster speeds? Are any of your games showing really poor performance? Are you prepared to reduce any settings to improve playability? Perhaps you'd benefit from a 14900K and an RTX 4090 if you win the lottery.

I see, i actually made a typo and meant to say 6600 not 6400.

Nothing is wrong, I was just trying to see what i could do to maximise my pc performance for the lowest latency and best fps. I play cs and val all on low settings, cs on 1280x960 lmao, so i dont care about graphics really just the best possible advantage to win.

Thanks for the reply, I think i will just leave it
