You think Beck is worth listening to ... the dimwitted, drug addict criminal who dumped his wife and kids when they became inconvenient ... then found the lord, a new wife, and a niche in the media as an extremist nutjob who we all love to post videobites about.

Note all of the content of my previous statement is based on truth.

I rest my case.

Haha, Glenn Beck cracks me up.

Eventually, but see how slowly that's happened in most other countries. It's better for citizens to stash away weapons first, at the ready but never actually needed because the threat of those weapons keeps power-grabbers awake at night. It's a similar concept to "mutually assured destruction".

crash you do realise we still worship the ground you walk on ... when it comes to pooters that is.

In terms of politics I'm thinking all that time in your basement benchtesting the hell out of everything geekish hasn't made you all that human.

Lets get you started with some good social democrat prereading ...

/ducks

:)

I was thinking she could work on his image as a wholesome middle aged prospective bachelor ...

Lets start with the hair and clothes.

Then work on his image ... I'm thinking chicks dig guys who are caring and tech savvy.

crash ... add me to your LinkedIn and I'll get a spindoctor lined up for you !!

That is like saying men like size 2 playboy bunnies but MARRY doctors, nurses, opticians, tech savvy ladies, etc. Such a sweeping generalization.

Also, makeovers? If you're trying to change his mind on the right to bear arms, I don't think a hair cut is going to cut it.

Well, men do like women with brains, and since most are at times irresistable, anything can happen.
I tend to think for the most part, we are all looking for the same things, and alas, the most wide and sweeping generalization of all

Yes the 2nd Amendment said you had a right to bear arms meaning rifles not the weapons that should be used in the police department and military. This is crazy to even consider using these arms to protect yourself.Don't be paranoid the Government is not taking away your children's homes in years to come.

lol, I went to school with an open mind, which was then filled with propaganda. Rousseau was the aperitif that was supposed to make a main course of Marx more palatable, yet the one thing that really stuck was Huxley. And I don't think that outline needs further elaboration for you to see where I'm going with this.
Historically, all political systems have failed after losing the consent of the governed. The U.S. system of checks and balances is designed to limit the growth of government power and thereby delay that inevitability. The U.S. Constitution's Bill of Rights is its primary constraint against government overreach.

Dodgy haircuts all 'round...

A democracy which makes or even effectively prepares for modern, scientific war must necessarily cease to be democratic. No country can be really well prepared for modern war unless it is governed by a tyrant, at the head of a highly trained and perfectly obedient bureaucracy.
Aldous Huxley
Seems we have the first half, depending on which side you stand of course

Awe shucks, I didn't watch the movie...sorry Jane.

Guys, it's time to be polite :)

I took most of Huxley's writing as warning, but I guess you could have it both ways. Feel free to use my prior statements to create context.

Jane we could get crash to go shopping with Wolfgang ... he is a good dresser and looks sharp.

Or maybe Kevin P ... I asked him to pop in and join too.

The wife thinks Kevin is a bit of a looker ... just going to hack her FB account to see he hasn't propositioned her yet.

:)

It would seem they want us back to flint locks, and is pretty much many responses Ive heard here, as considered acceptable anyways.
People where I live have always hunted, its what you do here, and yet, the Bald Eagle never left the skies here, the wolf was always heard.
I dont think this will play here, and the folks in the cities, or those states who have left hunting far behind, individually figure it out
Dont tread on me

Bolt action / level action should do the trick ... maybe make them all 5 foot long blunderbuss weapons so they can only conceil them behind a truck.

Then we will know they are coming ... and should stand some chance with a good bit of ducking and weaving.

Hmm ... maybe I should write a "Duck and Weave Course" ... it might be as popular as "Duck and cover".

That one was pretty popular in the schools in the 60's.

:)
