As the title of the thread states, could there be any problem that will occur if some of the small pins at the motherboard were bent accidentally? And some of the solders too.

TIA! :)

Really depends on what was bent. Most things on a motherboard belong there so in general yes it could cause all kinds of problems.

It's on the back portion of the motherboard. I'm not really sure if those pointed stuff at the back of the motherboard are called pins(correct me if I'm wrong). But I'm pretty sure some of them were bent. Would it cause problem/s?

Oh you mean the solder points on the back side of the board. I did not realize that was what you were saying at first. I thought you meant the back part of the motherboard as in the part at the back of the case on the front side of the board. 😗

Just having some solder points bent should not be a big deal. They can however casue a short if they are bent so that they touch another conductive part of the board.

@Anort3
Ohhh, ok. Thanks! 😀

@Nikorr
Ohhh! Sadly, no. My cam doesn't work properly. Sorry. But I think, anort cleared my mind already about this problem. Thanks though! :)

Snip them? Or Bend them? Snipping will take a pair of small diagonal cutters or flat snippers. Bending will take maybe a pair of small needle nose pliers. If the bent over tails are not interfering with anything and not too long, you could just leave them alone.

^ I agree.

You just risk damaging the board. So unless you see something touching where it shouldn't leave it alone.
