Here's the problem .. and I suspect I'm not alone. I installed PC Cleaner Pro .. used it for a while.. then, wanted to un-install it. As probably everyone who has tried to do that knows.. it can't be done using just the "uninstall" feature of a PC.
The program is removed from the list of programs, but.. something remains when ever another anti-virus program tries to install.. it says that PC Cleaner Pro is still there... and therefore, you cannot install another anti-virus program.
I've even tried re-installing PC Cleaner Pro .. then un-installing from the safe mode .. no luck.. there is still some part left that confuses other anti-virus software.. Gee.. ya think they did that deliberately?
The big question .. How do I get around the nasty & sloppy programming of PC Cleaner Pro .. so I can install something else....???
