Hi All,
I'm just about to finish BG1Tutu - I'm in the dungeon underneath
Durlag's tower, and I simply have to finish up there then pop back to
BG and kill Sarevok. I've done all the other TotSC quests and BG1
areas.
I've really enjoyed the Tutu - it's a tremendous achievement. I never
played BG1 beyond the Nashkel mines because I didn't really like the
UI, but the BG2 engine is vastly better. (Not to mention that being
able to make a party with a Kensai, a Monk, an Archer and a
Swashbuckler has been a lot of fun!)
So, what shall I do next? The obvious answer is go on to BG2 and then
ToB, which are waiting. I just wanted to check whether anyone would
recommend any other BG1 mods first. Dark Side of the Sword Coast?
Northern Tales of the Sword Coast? I've heard of both of these but
would love to know what you think of them. Worth installing and trying?
Tutu compatibility is not necessary - I'm quite happy to do a
reinstall. I'm thinking of trying the Big Picture and BGTrilogy. I know
BGT is an alternative to Tutu (rather than a follow-on), and I'm not
sure I'd want to play through BG1 again so soon, but if it adds a
must-play bit to BG1 then I'd give it a whirl.
Tell me what worked for you,
CC
