Hi there,
As of last week, I've been getting random reboots whilst playing demanding games, which is now gone with PSU change however
black screens are happening instead.
What I've done so far:
My first thought was an overheating issue, I checked HWMonitor whilst running intensive games and Prime95 & Furmark they're both 60c max.
Next thought was a windows issue or RAM issue, so I did a fresh Windows install to no luck alongside running memtest86 which showed 0 errors.
I then gathered it was a PSU issue, so I replaced that and.....
No more reboots, however black screen crashes instead whilst running furmark and prime95
(Pc is still on and fans are spinning, however cannot use PC or turn off power, have to switch off at mains)
Specs listed below:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600
Graphics Card: GTX 1070 Strix 8gb
Motherboard: Asus Rog Strix B350-F
PSU: Previously Corsair CX 750M, now EVGA 850 GQ
SSD: x2 Sandisk 120gb
(GPU and CPU are not overclocked and bios settings have been reset to default)
Hope someone can help,
Many Thanks,
