Any Black & White players out there?

I'm having issues on Land 4 converting the undead village. Their needed belief constantly resets to 500 when it gets below 400. Is this a bug? Or am I not doing something right?

I do not like it Tom you see,

Have you updated to v1.1? That fixes a lot of bugs.

Yes, and I was instructed what to do. Apparently, the guide book I have is wrong, and you are not suposed to convert the village, but simply gain influence over the statues so you can move them.

Yeah...even then, my tiger was the stupidest mofo out there! Maybe it was because I kept throwing rocks at it??!
Ah well...might give it another try some other time...

The monkey is the best for just starting out. Do a search, there are sites that have all the info on every animal in the game.

I played the game for about 3 weeks then just stopped playing it cold turkey. Weird hu? I loved the way it looked but just couldn’t get it to the game play, I found training the monster just too tedious. Maybe I just have a short attention span.

i hear ya. i have the attention span of a small child so maybe thats the problem. i also didnt really like controls, but thats minor.

i think Black and White is a terrific game, but only those who can stand the at-times tedious micromanagement will excell and really get into it. I could never stand training my creature it was much to tedious (pick up the tree and put it in your stock and then go back and find out your creature didn't watch and have to do it again..etc). Despite the tedious gameplay, it looked great and had an innovative design.
