When I play CIV 5 in dx11&10 mode, my computer BSOD's and spits out: System Service Exception - win32kbase.sys.

I did some initial research and thought maybe I had a corrupted driver of windows file that caused this. So did a /sfc scan and tried reinstalling some drivers, but I ended up just reinstalling Windows 10 Pro. However, I still get the same error. So, maybe I thought the graphics card was going bad (GTX 780). I ran 3dmark11 Advanced on the highest possible settings that can be set for a 1080p monitor and it ran just fine. So I then ran a memtest and everything was fine. Hardware wise, everything seems fine, except for CIV 5 in dx11&10 mode.

I downloaded BlueScreenView and apparently these are the two things causing windows to BSOD:

- win32kbase.sys
- ntoskrnl.exe

I have attached the minidump:

Please help; everything works fine except for CIV 5 and I am concerned there is a greater problem, that I am not catching, which will spiderweb and cause bigger problems.

Related to a software driver not hardware. post a screenshot of installed programs so we can see if there are any offenders... also since this only occurs during gaming i would perform a "clean" install of Nvidia drivers using DDU link is below. On top of that perform a repair of all installed Visual C++ Redistributable Packages in add/remove programs then report back once all that is completed.

Everything is fully updated.

My other friends, who run Windows 10 also, do not get this problem.
