Ryzen 5 1600 six core CPU

CX750M Corsair Psu
pretty sure its a gold tier

How do you mean?. Would my CPU actually hinder the GPU performance or are you implying it can happen.The only thing you have to keep an eye is the CPU might botleneck the GPU performance. But that you can upgrade that later as well.

ohh i see thank you for clearing that up for meYou wont have any issue running a 2070 or 2080 on any AM4 board...GPU support depends on the PCI-E slot the board comes with and the even oldest AM4 boards are PCI-E 3.0
An PCIe x16 graphics card is the same. 1030, 1050, 2070. They are all the same to the electronics of the motherboard.what do you mean...to the mother board
