[SOLVED] Can the B360 M support RTX 3080?

This is essentially a duplicate thread, save for the compatibility question - which I've answered below.

10th gen is compatible with 400 series motherboards only.
8th and 9th gen is 300 series.


If you're feeling adventurous, and want to pair a 3080 with that psu anyway - good luck.
The CX750 won't blow up on you, but should you run into crashing, you'll have to do one extra step of troubleshooting besides the usual driver-related stuff... and the only way to troubleshoot psus is with another psu.

The crashing is yet to be completely determined:
-Hardware? The whole POSCAPs VS MLCC debacle.
-Early drivers? Well, it is a new architecture, after all...
-Software? Vendors and users are apparently pushing too high core clocks

the RMX 750 is costing around 17000 INR here, while the Bronze edition of the 1000 watt is available for 16000. So what is the better option?
