Hello, i'm kind of noob about this lol, Recently I bought the msi GTX 1660 ti gaming x for this build details:

cpu : Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz ( stock cooler )
ram : Corsair - Vengeance 16 GB 2x8 GB
motherboard : MSI - B450M GAMING PLUS
psu : EVGA - 500W 80+ white ( 100-W1-0500-KR )

here's the full build on pcpartpicker :

Should i get another psu after installing the new gpu ? or just stay with it ? i'm working with it two weeks now without issues, someone has told this psu is bad and can burn the components that's why i'm asking here, i don't have enough money now for new psu right now btw xD

waiting for your replies thanks

Nope....you want your PSU to be at least double your draw.

Estimated power draw is 289W without OCing. Double that is 578W, and you probably want a bit over that as a good margin.

Go with a 650W unit and you'll be more in line with the way a PSU should be loaded.

NVidia lists the recommended power for a system with that GPU at 450 watts. Given a 65 watt TDP for your processor, I'd agree with that assessment and your selected power supply is sufficient. If you do intend to overclock, then you should consider a higher powered, quality unit.

For the record, I'm running that processor and a lower power threshhold GTX 1060 (400 watts recommended) on a 550 watt Seasonic, but I like some overhead with my unit.
