I've looked up multiple topics on this and tried everything listed in those topics.
MSI B450 gaming plus max mobo-latest bios installed and verified it does support 5000 series cpus

Upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5700x3d from a Ryzen 5 3600x
RTX 3060ti
500gb crucial p2 ssd (has always flawlessly booted) in the same slot it has always been
32gb ddr4 ram
Gigabyte G750H 750w 80 plus gold

Board only shows my m.2 boot drive with CSM and Legacy+UEFI enabled, can't even see it under UEFI.

When I try and boot from CSM UEFI+Legacy mode I get the message "please reboot snd select proper boot media"

Things I've tried:
Disconnecting all other drives besides the boot drive
UEFI boot mode
CSM With Legacy+UEFI
Cleared CMOS

I have NOT re-slotted ram or m.2

I guess as a last resort I could swap my other SSD into the m.2 slot and reinstall windows 10 from USB but I'd honestly rather not have to do that cause it would just be a pain.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I wanna test out this upgrade so bad.
Thanks!

I ended up just reinstalling windows from USB onto a different, faster m.2 that I had. Then everything booted and has been working perfectly all day. Had to re-download some things but man this upgrade was so worth it
