[SOLVED] CAN'T FORWARD ANY PORT

i have been trying port forwarding but whatever i do on my router it doesn't work.In settings of router(192.168.1.1) it seems normal but when i check it on a website it says it's closed.I try it on metasploit anyway but it still doesn't working helpppp

Port forwarding on many routers is confusing and none do it the same so it is hard to get good guides.

Try the DMZ options first. That is pretty simple you put in the IP address of you internal machine. It in effect forwards all ports. Not a long term solution because of hackers but if it works then it is just a matter of figuring out what tiny thing you need to do to make port forwarding work.

If the DMZ doesn't work then it is likely something blocking it. First be very sure you have a public ip. Make sure the IP address you see on your WAN interface in your router is the same as the one on the scan web site. Next be sure there is a program actually active on the port you want to scan.
