Changing Processor

Hey guys, im planning to change my processor from a i5-2320 to a i7-2700K
what do i have to consider in this process?

Reinstalling OS?
I already know what socket i have its a LGA1155.


Windows 7 64-bit
8 GB Ram
Mobo: CM6630_CM6730_CM6830

Im not sure but whatever my Mobo is Asus didnt give a *** about it....
My PC model is Asus Essentio CM6730...

Is there anything i should know about Mobo to Processor Incompabilities?
or PSU? My PC still have stock 350Watts PSU.

You need thermal compound, and rubbing alcohol to clean the heatsink from the old thermal compound. Should not need to re-install the OS.

Lots.

Don't force the the heatsink onwards, make sure it sits properly, don't force the chip into place, be careful not to bend the pins on the socket, make sure it's facing the right direction before you close the bracket, don't spill thermal compound onto the board, or worse, the pins themselves.
