Question Choice between 2 SSD's

Hey guys,

I was looking for a M.2 SSD because there are some on sale in my country and i really don't know what to choose between:

• 512GB Intel® 660p Series, M.2 80mm, PCIe 3.0 x4 and
• 500GB Western Digital Blue 3D NAND, M.2 2280, SATA III

Both of them are at the exact same price, so based on speeds, the obvious choice would be the Intel one. But i was wondering..why is so cheap? It is because of the QLC memory? What are the downsides? Also i want to state that i want to use the SSD as the OS and software drive. Thanks!

Since one is SATA and one is NVMe it may depend on what motherboard you have. Most motherboards with a M.2 slot support NVMe. If yours does, then the NVMe (Intel) would be the better choice.
