[SOLVED] Compatible cable suggestions needed

Hi all

I'm looking to upgrade the HDD of Lenovo Yoga 2 11 (Model 20332) to a SSD.

Without looking at the motherboard, I went ahead and ordered a regular SSD on amazon.

Today I opened up the laptop and found that it came with a UltraSlim WD HDD and has a different SATA port that I never saw before.

What kind of cable can I now get to install an SSD on this laptop? Does anyone have any ideas please? Please check the pictures.

So you might need to send that SATA drive back. Your laptop uses a SFF-8784 connector and although they make converters for standard SATA your drive will be too thick I beleive.

You can then Google "SFF 8784 to mSATA" and find an adapter. Then youll need a mSATA SSD which can also be found the same way.
