A friend of mine brought in his PC because it won't boot says no bootable device found. I looked around and tried a few things and I cannot get it to boot to any bootable device.

I tried using a known good SSD with windows, still says no bootable device found. I've tried windows install disk and windows install on a USB Drive, same issue. I took the HDD that was in it out and tried on a different PC, and it works and boots to windows.

I've tried resetting all BIOS settings to default, no luck, and I've tried taking the CMOS battery out and letting it sit and then trying again, no luck either.

Any ideas of what the issue may be and how to fix it?

PC in question:
Acer Predator G3-710 (BIOS R02.A2, which is outdated but I don't think I can update it with this issue)
I7-7700k
32gb ddr4
1TB HDD
Gtx 1070

If you connect any disk and go into bios does it show up under sata?
If it does you can go to boot order and set sata or the specific disk as the first boot device.
If you press F12 when the bios logo shows does it list any drive?
All drives that I connect shows up in the bios, the HDD is set to the default boot device. Hitting f12 actually doesn't bring anything up which is weird, it does not show any drives to choose instead when pressed it says it will boot into it but it doesn't and goes straight to the "no bootable devices" screen instead.
