Question Corsair Vengeance K65: What parts are required to replace the USB Mini-B cable assembly?

Hello

I am looking for a replacement USB Mini-B cable assembly for the Corsair Vengeance K65. Sadly, 3/5 pins connecting the internal USB Mini-B female have snapped off.

Here's a few cables that somewhat resembles the part, but the ports are housed by a screw-on cap:

Corsair Support says "We do not have access to schematics or blueprints for our devices as they are not available publicly". I understand, but come on, man. It's only the USB after all. I have owned this keyboard for roughly 8 years and don't want to buy a new one just yet. The keyboard is still in great condition despite the faulty USB.

I would appreciate help to identity the specific parts required to fix.

Can you just strip the ends and directly solder it to the board for the time being?

I thought about doing this. I'm wondering why Corsair didn't do this initially. I have little to no experience with soldering, so it comes down to taking it to a local repair shop or buying a brand new mechanical keyboard. Some part of me wants to keep it alive lol.

Soldering isn't too hard and it's not a bad skill to pickup. There are some decent references videos to help you get going. That said, cost wise it's probably better to get a new keyboard. If you want to pickup a new skill and keep something working though, learning how to solder would help.
