Question CPU drastic increase in temperature when idle

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X - Cooler: Wraith Spire - Case: NZXT 510 Elite

Build a pc 3 months ago, it always had great thermals, running around 30C under 0% load with the CPU fan spinning at low speed.
This changed all of the sudden without making any changes to my pc.

The CPU, when idle (0 - 2% load) spikes up to 50C when the cooler sometimes goes up to 2300 RPM to get it back around 30C

When playing simple games (15% laod) the cpu cooler maxes at 2800 RPM to keep the CPU at around 60C.

No idea how this has happned, it's really worrying to me. These changes in thermals happned within 1 or 2 weeks.

Thanks in advance

Is your Windows Power Plan on Balanced?
If it is on High Performance then that would prevent it idling.

Also check Task Manager to see if there is anything running the CPU to a high usage.

These Ryzen chips often spike up to 55c during idling sometimes which is what my 3700X does.
You can use Windows Power Saver plan to drop the CPU to 2200 MHZ whilst just browsing etc.

Power Plan is on balanced.
Taskmanager cpu usages beteen 0 and 5% all the time.
