CPU fan died and computer quit. Now have a new CPU and still not working

Hello,

I the CPU fan in my computer died and the computer quite working. I got a new CPU under warrant but the computer is still not working.

When I try to boot the computer all the fans start spinning but ten seconds later the computer shuts down. Nothing ever shows up on the screens. I have tried taking all cards out but this dose not help.

The mother board that I have has and LCD for trouble shooting. I am getting error #36 (CPU initialization)

flash your bios ? Check CPU for bent pins?

Flashing the BIOS won't be possible until the system POST and it isn't required if it's the same CPU. What CPU do you have? Could you have it tested in another system?
