Hi, i recently built a PC with the intent of gaming, i have gotten all my parts off of newegg (of course) and I've come to some heating issues with my CPU.
The processor I have is an AMD Phenom 9850 Quad core.
Since I was trying to cut back on money I didn't get that much of a spectacular fan.

That is the fan I bought..
Yeah, i know...
But anyways, i was wondering what I could do. I'm using the thermal grease that was already pre-applied onto the fan, i didn't know if thermal grease could make that much of a difference if i bought a better kind maybe.
Or I could buy a new fan, which I figure might be the answer, keep in mind i'm trying to save money here, so if I should have to buy a new fan, what kind? And how much?
Thanks in advance.
