Hello everyone
I've had my computer for a couple of years now and the cpu seems to be bottling. Per usual pieces get old and they dont run the way the used to, so things that hardly used up any cpu are now ramping into the 60-80% range.

Im hoping to possibly get some recommendations from the community to what i can upgrade to. im hoping to not spend more than 300 but if need be, i can go a bit above.

My system is:
Cpu: Intel Core i7-6700K 4 GHz Quad-Core Processor
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (decive manager says "1080 Ti" but the part only says "GTX 1080"
SSD: Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 2 TB
RAM: G.Skill Aegis 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory
MBD: Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 5 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

Thank you to anyone willing to help and best wishes

I would go 12600K and B660M, That will make a big difference and give you an upgrade path to Raptor lake in future.
